Qimao Metal Manufacturer is a professional factory in producing high-quality Stainless Steel Internal Connector For Lamp Pole Anti Rotation Positioning Component. Unlike regular pipe connectors, this product features a thread-free, slip-fit design and an effective anti-rotation structure, solving the common problems of rusting welded brackets and seizing threaded connectors. Its core advantage lies in the dual anti-rotation design: two small ears (or tabs) on the sides that lock into matching slots or internal ribs of the lamp pole, plus a double-flat shaft (non-round lower part) that provides a second layer of anti-spin protection, ensuring the connector stays fixed and does not rotate once installed.
Two things:
1. No threads – you don't screw anything onto it. It's a slip-fit design.
2. Anti-rotation feature – two small ears (or wings) on the sides, plus a double-flat shaft (not round). Once it's inside the pole, it cannot spin.
We originally made these for street lamp manufacturers who were tired of welded brackets that rust or threaded connectors that seize up over time. This one just sits inside the pole, keeps the alignment, and doesn't corrode.
Stainless steel material – The products Stainless Steel Internal Connector For Lamp Pole Anti Rotation Positioning Component from Qimao Metal Manufacturer usually use 304. Won't rust like carbon steel, even outdoors for years. Some customers ask for 316 for coastal areas.
· No internal or external thread – you don't turn it, you don't screw it. It's a positioning component, not a fastener.
· Anti-rotation design – two small ears (tabs) on the sides lock into matching slots or against internal ribs inside the pole. Once installed, the connector stays where you put it.
· Double-flat shaft – the lower part of the connector is not round. Two sides are flattened. This gives you a second layer of anti-spin protection.
· Slip-fit installation – the connector slides into the pole opening. No welding, no glue, no special tools.
· Made for hollow poles – round tube, square tube, or octagonal light poles. Works as long as the internal shape accepts the connector profile.

Step 1 – Confirm the fit
Slide the Stainless Steel Internal Connector For Lamp Pole Anti Rotation Positioning Component connector into the bottom of the upper pole section. It should go in with hand pressure – not too loose, not forced.
Step 2 – Align the ears
The two ears must line up with the internal slots or ribs inside the pole. If the pole has no internal slots, the flat surfaces alone will still provide some anti-rotation, but the ears are better.
Step 3 – Insert the lower pole section
Slide the lower pole over the exposed part of the connector. The connector should be half inside the upper pole, half inside the lower pole.
Step 4 – Check rotation
Try to twist the two pole sections by hand. There should be no movement. If there is, the fit is too loose or the anti-rotation features don't match.
Step 5 – Final assembly
No need for screws or welding. Gravity and the friction fit keep everything in place. For tall poles, some customers add a single set screw as backup – but that's optional.
· Carbon steel is cheaper – but it rusts. Even with zinc plating, the inside of a lamp pole traps moisture. Rust starts in a year or two.
· Stainless steel costs more upfront – but it outlasts the pole itself. No complaints about corrosion five years later. As customer high quality requirement, we use 304 ss for Stainless Steel Internal Connector For Lamp Pole Anti Rotation Positioning Component
For lamp poles that stay outside 24/7, we strongly recommend stainless steel. For indoor or temporary use, carbon steel is fine. We offer both.
