Analog Pressure Switch and Digital Pressure Switch have significant differences in many aspects.
Working principle:
Analog pressure switch: The pressure measurement and collection are achieved by sensing the deflection of the diaphragm, so that the mechanical circuit is opened or closed under a specific pressure to achieve control and protection. Its working principle is to use a mechanical contact to cut off or close the circuit. This open and close state is essentially an analog signal, but in practical applications, since the circuit has only two switching states (open or closed), it can also be regarded as a simplified digital signal.
Digital pressure switch: Based on electronic sensing technology, the pressure of liquid or gas is converted into an electrical signal output, and the digital signal is processed by the internal processor. When the pressure of the measured medium acts on the sensor, the sensor converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal. After amplification and processing, the electrical signal displays the current pressure value in digital form and sends a control signal according to the preset pressure threshold.
Signal output:
Analog pressure switch: Its output signal is usually a continuous analog quantity, which can reflect the actual change of pressure.
Digital pressure switch: Its output signal is a discrete digital quantity, usually expressed in binary form, such as 0 and 1, which is used to indicate the switch state of pressure or the digital display of pressure value.
Accuracy and stability:
Analog pressure switch: Accuracy and stability may be affected by environmental factors (such as temperature, humidity) and mechanical wear.
Digital pressure switch: Due to the use of electronic sensing technology and digital signal processing, it has higher accuracy and stability and is not easily affected by environmental factors.
Applications:
Analog pressure switch: Suitable for occasions with low accuracy requirements, such as general industrial control, household equipment, etc.
Digital pressure switch: Suitable for occasions with high accuracy requirements and real-time monitoring and control, such as hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, refrigeration systems and heating systems.
